CAL-EDA … an update!
Hello CALIFORNIA Dispatchers!
Welcome to the newly formed California Emergency Dispatcher Association. We are truly glad you have found us, and please, pass along information about the new association to everyone in your communications center! The more members we have in the association, the better it will be for everyone!
The Executive Board still has a couple of positions available…we are looking for FIRE Regional Representatives from all 3 regions, as well as a POLICE Regional Representative from the Northern Region.
Our last CTDA Regional Training is around the corner, Friday, November 6th in Sacramento. Please plan on attending. The instructor, Captain Tony Farrar, is a huge advocate of dispatchers and a good friend to our association.
The Executive Board is meeting in early October to finalize the calendar for 2010. If you have any ideas about classes, or fun, networking ideas, please let your regional rep know!
If you are currently a CTDA member – your membership will roll over into the CAL-EDA association. We are working very hard at making the membership application/payment process, as well as the renewal process more user friendly.
